 We aim to provide
positive lifelong involvement in sport and leisure through the provision
of a broad and varied programme of activities.
The School has a reputation for competitive sport and offers a varied programme of extra-curricular activities including
Rowing, Table Tennis, Aerobics and Tae Kwondo as well as major
sports such as Football, Rugby, Netball, Tennis, Badminton and
Rounders.
During KS3 students have two hours of PE each week and at the end of Year 9 they opt for one of three pathways. Choosing GCSE PE or GCSE Dance
links theoretical study with practical
activity whiles Core PE concentrates on practical
activities.
At Post-16 level, students can pursue AS and A2 PE/Sports courses,
or choose the more vocational route of BTEC Sports Course.
